Passion and Training

The MORO lab space is a physical and virtual environment within which we conduct practical and theoretical research and development. A fully equipped workshop for designing new products and expedients for constant process improvement. A technical laboratory for repairing equipment that allows us to evaluate any corrective adjustments to be made to new productions, touching on the state of wear and tear even of machines that have already worked several years. In this space we train our technicians and make videos so that distant customers can independently maintain and repair coffee machines.

We organize contact days in which customers can participate in roasting sessions of microlots of coffee from our plantations. Brazilian-style tasting days, barista training starting with basics, green coffee, extraction techniques with the possibility of taking exams for all levels of latte art or SCA certifications. We also organize classes for private clients who want to learn how to taste and evaluate a coffee or who want to learn how to make a great cappuccino at home.

Andrej Godina

The continuing collaboration with Andrej Godina, one of the most renowned coffee experts in the coffee world, honors us and helps us to refine our product more and more in order to obtain blends of the highest quality, unique and with unmistakable aromas. In our last Latte art course he also stopped by and we dedicated to him a beautiful cappuccino and a certificate with merit!

Carmela Maresca

Our latte art classes were all held under the guidance of national champion Carmela Maresca, a runner-up in the national Latte Art competition – the decorating competition that is carried out on stained cappuccinos and espressos – at the red level, which is one of the most complex. Today she is among the top four cup decoration artists in Italy.
